400 pounds, taken with one shot from Crockett rifle. The bear came through right at dark, but the silver blade showed up perfectly for a shot. Bear went 30 yards before piling up. Bullet hole can be seen right behind shoulder. Two .48 caliber balls and 100 grains of 3 fg were loaded and did the job quite nicely.
