To avert a complete meltdown after doing the extensive repair work which required at least 5 times the labor, skill and time, the exhausted gunsmith takes a well-deserved break from the stress and strain of re-working Bob's aborted project.

With most of the damage fixed and the stress relieving period over, the committed gunsmith ( yes, he's been let out), finishes the hardest part of gunmaking and destroys the evidence before his "boss" gets home. Now all that's left is the finish work, staining, engraving, baling-wire artistry, duct-tape application, excuse inventing, fishing-trip planning and then he can prepare a bill for the unfortunate customer. I'm sure the customer will pull both of his hairs out when he sees this bill. But it will be a really nice gun, I CAN assure you of that. Now, where's the next project and the next bottle of elixir...?
