Beautiful stylized "shell" carving that is very typical of English fowlers. These Officer's Fusil styled guns were custom built according to that particular offiicer's wishes. Mike Rowe also did a full lock panel carving all around the lock and on the off side panel. I unfortunately didn't get a photo of those areas. Note sterling silver thumbpiece. Mike "King Dude" Church ought to be happy with his special gun! We're going to try to have him come to the "hills", stay at the lodge and teach him how to shoot, clean and maintain his new fusil. We also built a detachable bayonet just in case his studio gets raided by Frenchmen...
