Somehow, I've forgotten to include the pricing for a rifled barrel in the information here and in our brochures. The prices quoted for all guns, except the English Game gun, are for smoothbore barrels. We ship our barrels to Mark DeHaas for reaming and rifling and then pay return shipping, also. We make no money on his service, but offer it to our customers at a charge of $55 for rifling and $25 for a rear sight, including parts. So if you're figuring the cost of a rifled barrel gun, this information might come in handy. Sorry for my oversight. By the way, Mark does a domed rifling which is halfway between round bottom and square bottom rifling. It allows for easy loading and cleaning and doesn't require a too tight patch ball combination to seal the gases, like round bottom rifling sometimes can. The twist rate is 1 in 54 inches which allows light charges for plinking and heavy charges for hunting, while minimizing clean up efforts.
