I'm a bit in shock after having this whole hunt happen so quickly and actually result in getting this beautiful buck!

He's got 13 scorable points and had the biggest neck of any buck I've ever taken. A TRUE Ozark mountain giant buck. Outside spread is 19 inches, rear times are over a foot long.

The .54 caliber English Game gun, which fired instantly even after being loaded for 3 weeks. Note sling pulled tight around butt so gun has no extra motion of a swinging sling when you pull gun up to shoot. The gun only weighs 5 pounds and is a very powerful, yet light gun.

This gun was broken completely through the wrist, so I fixed the poor unwanted cur and even added a little incised breech carving to spruce it up a bit. The break went right through the silver thumbpiece and angled forward towards the trigger. It's invisible now and worked quite nicely. Taken with a broken gun or not, this magnificent buck will be mounted and placed in my new home, once I get it re-built! Good luck to all of you out there!!!
