Andrew Caywood with his 2010 8-point buck. As you can see, the buck has his left rear tine snapped off from fighting, but he's still a very nice flintlock trophy. Andy had passed him up several times, along with some other bucks, but after 3 weeks of hard hunting, it was time to make some sparks fly. His Wilson has the 30 inch barrel with sling swivels which makes for a very handy woods gun. Andy was a sniper in the Marines when he served and these critters are generally in big trouble once his hammer drops! GREAT job Andrew and THANK YOU for your service! We still have another week of season open, a late muzzle-loading hunt and also an after Christmas rifle hunt. There's still time to go after the big antlers! I'll be going out for some doe hunting since I've already filled my allowable buck tags. I just love being out there with my flintlock and hope you guys get to spend some extra time out in the wonders of mother nature. GOOD HUNTING!!!
