Here's my friend Greg showing the female coyote. We estimated her weight between 40 and 50 lbs., but she felt closer to 50 to me!!! Greg made a perfect shot on her and even though we weren't able to call any more in, we felt it was a complete success...celebrated with a few ice cold barley pops and a big bowl of steaming hot venison chili. There are a bunch of coyotes out there and hopefully I can keep clipping the population and give the other critters a chance to survive. Too bad the pelts aren't worth anything because she had a perfect coat on her.
