This is the site for our new factory. I've already spent about 6 hours on the old Ford and cleared out about 15 trees into a brushpile; locusts, pine trees, cedars and unfortunately a nice cherry tree, no lie. You can barely see the highway through the edge of the trees to the left. Those nice big oaks will provide some mid-day shade in the heat of these lovely Arkansas summers! We are completely surrounded by pine trees and I've already begun building a berm to shoot into. That way customers can come to the shop, pick up their new gun, get a little instruction and make any adjustments if necessary.
.Mike is bringing his old back hoe over next week and we'll get the footers dug so we can get the foundation formed up. We're putting in the septic system and having the well drilled. We'll stub in our plumbing and begin installing all the re-bar. We're going to hire a finisher, but we'll pull all the concrete since we're still young, strong and stupid. We're still able to follow instructions, thankfully! We're going to erect the steel building and do all the rest of the inside construction work to turn this site into a new, slightly larger factory and quit bumping into each other! It's going to take a while to get back into production, but we're building up a small extra inventory of fine firearms to carry us over and still be able to ship a few guns in the meantime. We'll list everything available, but they're already going fast, so speak up, we won't have many extras!! Once we shut down here, we'll forward the phone to the lodge, so you'll still be able to contact us if you need to hurl any insults.
We also have about 6 or 8 extra belt axes for Christmas presents, so let us know soon if you need one before we shut down.
The new address will be; 2239 Hiway 143, Berryville, AR., 72616. You can start sending correspondence to that address now.
