Full length view of Arkansas Governor Huckabee's 12 gauge English Officer's Fusil. The palm swell is evident near the entry thimble. The barrel on the Officer's Fusil is 37 inches. We jug-choked the barrel and it shoots an incredible pattern. It should give good performance on turkeys to about 35 yards with nickel 5's.

Left side showing the stump wood and nicely fitted sliding wooden patchbox. All the carving on the firearm was performed by Mike Rowe.

Close up view of the brass lockplate. This lock features a waterproof/water resistant frizzen, large flat pan and lightening quick operation.

Close up view of the crossed scepters and tang carving.

Tang carving and sterling silver thumbpiece, with the Governor's initials engraved

Butt plate finial showing inletting, engraving and also the nice slim patchbox lid profile.

Governor Huckabee accepting the English Officer's Fusil. We are planning a televised Arkansas turkey hunt in April. If we are successful, it will be the first time a governor has ever taken a  gobbler on camera. Hopefully, the flintlock will bring good luck. We will keep you posted.
