The typical English style breech plug and sterling silver thumbpiece. I did engrave a sunburst on the breech after photographing this.

12 Gauge English Fowler (pg. 2)

The classic English Sporting lock at full cock and ready to do battle.  English side plate with typical English style engraving of that period.

The stylized torch finial with flower engraving on trigger guard bow adds a nice touch of style to this fine piece.

12 ga. English Fowler - Pg. 1

The slding wooden patchbox adds an elegant grace to the beauty of  the English fowler guns. It is available on all English fowler pattern guns in right or left hand versions.

This fine little turkey gun only weighs about 4-1/2 lbs., easy to carry when you're chasing those birds all over and easy to hold for long preiods while you're waiting for those stubborn birds to get within range! Customer ordered an optional rear sight for precision shot load placement...and round balls, too!

This angled shot shows the graceful stock architecture typical of the classic English style fowler. The low comb aligning with barrel reduces recoil for a comfortable and painless day of shooting...or for that one critical shot a a gobbling rockhead!

This picture illustrates the slim profile of the patchbox lid, which is also angled inward to the center of the gun for a sleek unobtrusive look. Spiked butt plate finial is fully engraved in English style to add a finishing touch!
